Queen City Mechanicals Supports Turner Construction

Queen City Mechanicals was honored to participate in the 2019 Turner Foundation Classic held on May 20th at Kenwood Country Club. The second annual golf and dinner event hosted by Turner Construction, is a collection of the Tri-States premier contracting firms gathering to raise funds and show their support of several local charitable organizations. At Queen City Mechanicals we are privileged to have had the opportunity to partake in this great event for each of its first two years and look forward to future opportunities to show our support.

Blue Chip Plumbing Supports St. Susanna

We were honored to once again have the opportunity to show our support of St. Susanna School & Parish by being a corporate sponsor at the 2019 St. Susanna Golf Outing, held on May 17th at Wetherington Golf and Country Club.  The support of Blue Chip Plumbing, a division of queen City Mechanicals, and the many other great firms participating in this year’s event assisted the Booster Committee in raising funds to provide a new wood gym floor that will be installed in the school during the summer break.  At Blue Chip Plumbing, we are privileged to have the opportunity to partner with many great local organizations.

Queen City Mechanicals Continues to Grow!

Queen City Mechanicals is pleased to announce the addition of Keith Minges to our team, as we continue to grow!  Keith recently joined QCM as a plumbing project manager and will draw upon his commercial plumbing/mechanical management experience to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.  As with his counterparts, Keith will utilize his skills to ensure that his assigned projects are delivered on-time, within budget and with the highest quality for all his customers.

We are excited to have Keith aboard and furthermore, eager to participate with him as we collectively stride forward towards our goal of establishing Queen City Mechanicals as the Tri-States’ premier, full service, mechanical contracting firm.

Blue Chip Plumbing Grows Again

Blue Chip Plumbing, a subsidiary of Queen City Mechanicals, is pleased to announce the addition of Anthony Castellano to the team as Service Manager.  Anthony, originally from New York City, has made Cincinnati his home for the last two decades.  With more than thirty-five (35) years of commercial and residential plumbing/HVAC service experience, Anthony will be responsible for the successful day to day activity of the service field staff.  As manager of the service department, Anthony will utilize his years of both field and management experience to assist his staff with a focus on quality, efficiency and an overall better experience for the current and future customers of Blue Chip Plumbing.

Queen City Mechanicals Establishes CAD/BIM Department

Queen City Mechanicals is pleased to announce the addition of Chris Strassell to our team as we officially implement the establishment of an in-house CAD/BIM Department. Chris, a native of Cincinnati, has coordinated the plumbing and HVAC systems of many projects in the Tri State area and helped our market adopt the computer aided design platform nearly three decades ago. As manager of the CAD/BIM Department, Chris will utilize his years of experience to successfully establish, implement and grow Queen City Mechanicals design capabilities. The initial focus of the department will be to eliminate the outsourcing of all design efforts and to self-perform all the company’s plumbing coordination. As the implementation of the CAD/BIM department continues to develop, their efforts will foster growth in QCM’s pre-fabrication process through the creation and utilization of spool drawings to more efficiently build assemblies.

Queen City Mechanicals Establishes Exterior Services Division

Queen City Mechanicals is pleased to announce the addition of Rick Seaver to our team as we officially implement the establishment of our Exterior Services Division. Rick, a native of the Greater Cincinnati Tri-State area, has been involved in site development for the last decade and a part of the construction industry for more than twenty years.    

As Director of Exterior Services, Rick will utilize his years of experience to successfully establish and grow Queen City Mechanicals presence in the marketplace, with an initial focus on underground utility installations.  As the implementation of the department continues to develop, additional service offerings such as excavation, grading, concrete flatwork and asphalt paving will be added to the line-up of services provided by QCM.
