project DESCRIPTION

As part of the Columbia Parkway Drainage Improvements Master vision, this project is designed to capture storm water created in Eden Park that currently flows down the hillside above Columbia Parkway. After the installation of 600’ of reinforced concrete pipe and associated drainage structures is complete, the storm water will be collected and piped directly to the City of Cincinnati’s storm sewer system. The elimination of stormwater runoff down the slope above Columbia Parkway will eliminate future mudslides from causing closures to one of the main thoroughfares connecting the east side of Cincinnati to the Central Business District.
